- Assumed operational responsibility of the converting dept in addition to keeping extrusion dept responsibilities (below).
- Re-organized converting dept with new supervision and led new operation schedule from 4-10`s to conventional 5-24 operation resulting in 12% reduction in overtime.

- Took over the 65 MM lb Extrusion dept in Jan 2000, and finished `04 producing 120MM lbs w/ lower headcount than 4 years previous. Started `07 with headcount reductions of 19% in the production department.
- Reduced TRR from over 5.3 to 1.24 in 2 years (Jan 2000-2002)
- Reduced customer reject rate from 2.8 % to 1.0 % overall, and .5 % of sales for our APET products in 3 yrs.
- Currently manages 24/7 operation of four production shifts w/ 8 extrusion lines with manpower of 13 per shift.
- Also managed the maintenance dept of 4 mechanics, 4 electrical personnel and the 4 production technicians in addition to the logistics dept w/ responsibility for the grinding room operating on a 24/7 schedule.
- Lead development of an in-house safety knife that is now mandatory in extrusion for web cutting during roll changes. This has resulted in zero recordables from a knife cut for over six years.

Designed and set up multiple Q.C. labs for process and raw material testing. and a formal process testing of moisture analysis with upgraded state of the art equipment.

- Nuclear Engineering Representative - For the nuclear propulsion program in a 2-state region. Served 10 months in this capacity resulting in earning 2 -Gold Star` awards for outstanding achievement in Nuclear Engineering recruiting.
