Bank of America, Charlotte, N.C. SVP, LD Consultant II Talent Manager
Managed multiple global, campus-hire, developmental programs for full-time associates for multiple lines of business. Most recently managed two global (Americas/Europe/Asia Pacific) campus technology programs with about 250 participants in either a two-year rotational leadership development program or a one-year talent developmental direct hire program. Responsibilities included: coaching, facilitating HR activities as needed, performance management and counseling, talent management, compensation, delivering relevant learning solutions and assisting with recruiting, interviewing and placement, and conducting exit interviews as needed. Drove for consistency across regions as appropriate. Travelled regularly to major global cities for participant meetings, delivering training and building regional partnerships with managers, HR partners and regional business leaders. Built relationships and partnerships on a regular basis globally as well as domestically. Constantly partnered with managers and HR partners to ensure best experience for participants. Conducted regular 1x1 sessions with participants, managers and HR partners as well as monthly group/global teleconference sessions via the phone, video, or telepresence. Designed, developed and implemented structured learning events including two Orientations ranging from 1-4 weeks, a Midpoint event (1 week) and a Graduation event (1 day) as well as additional days for line of business specific training. Orientations were delivered in Charlotte (1 week) and New York (4 week) while the Midpoint and Graduation events were delivered regionally. Orientation focused on an introduction to the company and line of business or technology specific training. Managed the program budgets, including salary and compensation as well as learning events budgets of more than $2.1 million.
In addition to managing the two technology campus programs, I partnered with colleagues and: Defined enterprise campus learning strategy across more than 20 campus programs including Orientation events for Interns, full-time participants and a specific 3-4 week Orientation event for Technologists supporting Investments, Sales and Trading Businesses. Led a team and leveraged six sigma tools to redesign the 10-12 week enterprise Intern Program to include performance management process, placement process, structured learning events and training materials and networking opportunities, including Orientation, Midpoint Event, End of Summer Event and Intern Survey. Identified vendors and managed several relationships to leverage for training events. I was the only one certified on vendor content to deliver internationally. Assisted in the original design and establishment of centralized campus programs in 2006. Defined the model of support while addressing unique line of business needs.

SVP, LD Consultant Process Owner Successfully managed the project to implement new Fidelity HR tools (Performance Management, Compensation, and Talent Planning) for the Technology organization of 56,000 associates, globally. Established and led a project team of line of business representatives. Created project plan for each tool to align with the enterprise plan. Led the team in defining the business, system and process requirements and success criteria. Provided stakeholders and senior leaders regular updates and major milestone updates. Established communication plans for all levels: stakeholders, sr leaders of Tech Group, managers, associates, etc.

Responsible for all phases of learning solution design and implementation. Managed a team of learning architects, developers, and self-study support, as well as leveraged and partnered with internal and external resources/vendors. Led or participated in the design, development, implementation or evaluation of hundreds of course/programs (instructor-led, self-study and/or CBT) for end users throughout the corporation.
In 2000-2001, developed two new delivery methods for internal training utilizing new web instructor-led and self-directed formats. Piloted this new method with the Tivoli Service Desk project and was able to influence the business partner, the development team and trainers on this new method and the value of the approach. The Technology Training department moved to this new model and in 3 months. Leveraged the curriculum development team and instructors to convert pre-existing courses to the new model, thereby ensuring buy-in for the new model of learning.

Responsible for all aspects of end-user training, including needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of programs to include long and short term goals, evaluation of alternative resources and related financial planning. Integrated the business needs of the corporation and the abilities and needs of the users and the available technologies into an overall technical training program which maximizes the available resources. Managed team of facilitators. Participated on project teams to ensure that training requirements are analyzed and meet the business needs of the bank.
Provided curriculum development expertise to design, develop and evaluate technical training courses for all levels of personnel. Assisted in the authoring of a PHOENIX based in-house CBT. Led the project team while the manager was out on maternity leave. Guide and assist other trainers with the development of their training materials. Act as final editor. Provide guidance to other less senior training specialists to improve their teaching styles for them to be more effective. Designed a set of standards to be used by the department when developing training materials. Taught over 25 different training curriculums from PC basics to advanced levels. Traveled and utilized travelling classrooms to deliver training in other states across the corporation until training centers were setup in the major hubs.
