Chief student affairs officer. Responsible for all student services programs and services, as well as the overall coordination of college-wide strategic planning and grant development processes. Coordinates the College-wide strategic planning and grant development. Substantively contributes to ensuring that the College meets Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) accreditation standards. Ensures meaningful contributions to the College's mission, vision, and Core Themes, while upholding the College's Values.Provides leadership to the college's student services division. Oversees: institutional strategic planning, grant development, Library, Herrett Center for Arts and Science, Instructional Technology Center (ITC; until August 2012), New Student Services, Admissions and Records, Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, Advising, Career and Counseling Services, Student Activities, Student Disability Services, Student Housing, Child Care Center, Student Health Center, and Campus Recreation. Completely re-designed library resources, services, and facilities to ensure that they are up to current standards. Launched many new online resources and services such as: ebooks, audiobooks, virtual reference, electronic reserves, online multimedia resources, etc. Transformed the LIIS program into a fully online program. Revised LIIS curriculum. Involved all librarians in teaching LIIS courses. Established the Library Advisory Committee.Led the complete re-design of the CSI website. Oversaw the successful implementation of a great number of mission-critical online services and resources for the College, such as: online course evaluation system, online voting system, campus virtual tour, online employee application tracking system, nursing applicant tracking system, etc. Improved the accessibility, functionality, usability, and visual appeal of the CSI website Staff supervised: 13 full-time, plus a number of part-time employees, work study, and interns. Budget: $856,000.

Instructional Technology Center (ITC) Director

Provided leadership in promoting the effective and efficient use of educational technology to enhance teaching and learning at CSI. Coordinated instructional technology training efforts designed to help faculty and staff take advantage of the possibilities offered by various technologies - credit and non-credit courses, workshops, seminars, presentations, small group and one-on-one training sessions, etc. Led multimedia and web-based curriculum development on campus: developing technology-enhanced curriculum, as well as educating faculty and staff on the most effective delivery methods. Oversaw the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the CSI website and online services. Worked closely with all stakeholders (administration, faculty, staff, students, alumni, community members, etc.) in order to develop a site that met their needs. Led the e-learning initiative on campus: chaired the e-Learning Initiative Committee; oversaw the maintenance and administration of Blackboard, CSI’s online learning management system; coordinated faculty, staff and student training in Blackboard, MyCSI (CSI's student information system/online portal), e-mail, and a wide range of software packages; and provided advice and consultation on best practices, the most effective and efficient solutions, and business process analysis and improvement. Oversaw and coordinated the design and development of printed and online marketing materials assigned to the department. Staff supervised: 3 full-time, plus work studies and interns.
