I began my career at Applebee's as a grill cook, after one and half years I was promoted to a supervisory position in the kitchen where I am responsible for food cost, quality of food, inventory and food ordering. I am also responsible for training and coaching members of the kitchen staff, and sharing vital information about their progress with other members of the management team. During this course of events, my leadership skills became apparent, so I was parallel promoted to dining room supervisor also. I am responsible for banking, writing checks, counting cash drawers, doing mid-day bank deposits, and handling all server monies.
