Operational Fitness Instructor, Civilian Fitness Coordinator & Pregnant/Post Partum PT Instructor (PPPT)

• Responsible for providing pre-combat preparedness to active duty soldiers, through a 40 hour training course (conducted twice monthly) consisting of CrossFit styled functional fitness, austere fitness training, nutrition, sandbag training, TRX training and emotional preparedness instructed by CSF PREP. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Maintaining and teaching mid day and evening classes (workout of the day) Monday-Friday to 10-20 individuals, programmed workouts for classes, ensuring all attendees of mid day and evening class are taught the movements executed, safely and accurately. Training includes one on one to larger groups up to but not limited to 50 people. Received my Level 1 CrossFit Certification in January 2010, and maintained that certification after completing the Level 1 Certification test June 2010. Also responsible for creating the Civilian Fitness Program at Fort Hood and maintaining the PPPT program. Received my Pregnant/Post Partum PT Instructor certification in February 2011.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: Maintaining and teaching mid day and evening classes (workout of the day) Monday-Friday to 10-20 individuals, teaching the foundational movements to all new trainees and active duty soldiers to ensure they are taught and become familiar with the nine movements that CrossFit, Inc. bases workouts around.
