Technical Research Branch (TRB)
United States Marine Corps
Responsible for the initial screening and technical research of all requisitions assigned a local status code. TRB is the first line of defense in managing customer demand. TRB is required to maintain all technical publications and manuals for special weapons systems. TRB is responsible for the initial Build of National Stock Numbers (NSN) and National Identification Control Number (NICN) in to local supply systems. TRB also screens all requisitions for high dollar value field, excess quantity ordered, hazardous material field, and special material field to ensure requester is ordering correct field per technical publications and manuals. TRB will follow up and research all Not in Stock and Not Carried requisitions for asset availability and to ensure requisition is in fact Not Carried or Not in Stock. TRB will reconcile with work centers and available units to ensure requisitions are still a valid requirement and to inform requester of system cancellations and alternate routes to provide customer with alternate parts, or next high assemblies.
Through team efforts and hard work achieved 100% on formal annual inspection.

Customer Assistance Branch (CAB)

CAB is responsible for receiving, processing, and monitoring all non aeronautical related custodial material, non-standard procurement request. Personnel assigned a Government-Wide Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) holder and are responsible for buying and paying for all request that are not available through regular supply means, and does not exceed threshold authorized by command. GCPC holders contact and communicate with appropriate vendors to purchase and follow up on purchases made for requester.
CAB is responsible for flight equipment control, issue, and turn in for Pilots, Co-Pilots and Aircrew for flying squadrons. CAB is responsible for Tool Control Programs to ensure work centers and available units order correct tools, quantities, and size if applicable.
Personally controlled Tool Control Program during Operation Enduring Freedom 12.1 for Kandahar, Camp Bastion, and Camp Dwyer Afghanistan.
Recreated and successfully maintained Squadron Support Division as NCOIC.
Provided mentorship and education of Tool Control Programs and Purchase Card procedures for nine flying Squadrons

Expediting Response Division (ERB)

ERB is responsible for expediting and monitoring high priority requisitions (aircraft downing discrepancies) active in supply system, such as contacting item managers to find out asset availability, and asset due in. ERB works and maintains all daily, monthly, quarterly reports and ensure all appropriate action has been taken such as cancellation, internal corrections of requisitions, National Stock Numbers, Quantities. ERB reviews and maintains any and all Supply Discrepancy Reports, to ensure all lost in shipment gear has been located and received by appropriate work center or available units. ERB is responsible for performing internal requisition reconciliations with local units on high priority requisitions to ensure requisition is valid, up-to-date status, and still required.
