ACHIEVEMENTSWrote an on-line Warranty Claim Entry System for outside customers to enter in their warranty claims. Developed the strategy, analyzed the data flow requirements, designed the process, and identified the customers’ requirements resulting in my introducing the product and a cost recovery table to verify the customers purchased product and service rate of customer. Language skill was CICS with file structure VSAM on IBM mainframe. Results: faster warranty claim credits for customer and less labour incentive for the business.

Modified on-line system; analyzed requirements, planned strategy, advised manager and business and wrote the on-line macro level language programs to command level language programs. Results: an application supported and covered by IBM support team.

Integrated core configuration changes by analyzing local business requirements, redesigning documentation and rewriting programs for local System. Revised local EDI system and Product Return System by assessing their needs; evaluated the results, and identified the customers’ requirements; integrated and led the programming changes. Language skills were RPG, RPGLE, CL with file structure DB2 on AS400 iSeries. Results; a more user friendly and speedier higher volume processing of orders.

Tested, organized the batch of tasks, executed the plan and advised the IT department responsibility of Core change tasks from head office would work with our local in-house application system, planned the procedure, investigated the changes, analyzed the modifications, prepared the test plan, advised the business and tested the multiple tasks. Results; a current application with local requirements that was also supported by Head Office.
