Reporting to the CFO, Sarbanes-Oxley internal audits, and made improvements to the Company’s inventory systems, by establishing new reporting tools. When incumbent left, became Controller of Century Fiberglass business, responsible for all accounting elements, including month-end close, account reconciliations and forecasting/budgeting. Closed the Century plant and returned to TAG HQ. Did SOX work for JBPCO (parent company), as well as assistance with YE audit, and 10k review. In March 2011, was given financial responsibility for the Specialty Products Division, a growing fiberglass producer.

Financial management of a multi-plant, Tier 1 aluminum die caster, serving automotive customers. Through acquisition, and takeover business, a $70 million company in 2006, with extreme cash issues.Installed daily cash management control system to meet loan availability levels, and allowing company to invest as required. Also reduced staffing during this period, prior to plant closure.Studied the IT requirements of the business, and changed the direction of the Company, simplifying the computer network, and making it easier to use.

Financial leader and HR manager of a holding company and three subsidiaries. Company is a $50 million producer of erosion control equipment and supplies for worldwide customers.Managed integration of $10.5 million acquisition with existing company. Organized to close open acquisition issues, meet payroll and benefit needs of 27 person workforce in Eugene, Oregon, and set up accounting system to have first close in 60 days.Installed Syteline ERP system, after search process verified the benefits, and prepared detailed cost justification for management review.Equity ownership forced management change in 2005, due to sales programs that did not perform.

Decision forced Mason plant closure.

Cost reduction project to move management from Auburn Hills to Solon, Ohio in 1997.Led financial activities to sell business for $30 million over book value.
