The work at the Life Company has been recognised internationally by way of a speaking

- October 91: Consulting Engagement to install and implement the Decision Support
System Data Interpretation System (DIS) in a major IBM account. The implementation was
highly successful in that the entire purchase of the system was paid for by the end of
1991. The customer was delighted enough to continue to engage Peter over the last 3 years.
Responsibilities included but were not limited to building all DB2 tables, providing end
users with access to that data, installing all hardware and software for the project,
managing the project and ensuring customer satisfaction.
March 92: Presented results of database design work at the above IBM Account to IBMs
Share Guide, as well as a significant number of IBMs leading customers.
March 92: Assigned to IBMs Professional Services Group to help lead the way into Services
Business.
November
- December 92: Consulting Engagement to assist a Consumer Packaged Goods company
to trial Decision Support Systems. The engagement consisted of integrating data from 1
internal and 2 external sources onto a DB2/2 platform and analysing the results using DIS.
The results were presented to the company's Board by the Director of Marketing.
January
-April 93: General marketing in Decision Support and Executive Information
Systems.
April 93: Consulting Engagement in Hong Kong for a large multi-national bank. The
engagement was to improve the performance of the monthly profit analysis system. The
customer was delighted with an 80% reduction in run time and CPU consumption. The
engagement was expanded to include training key members of staff the general concepts of
advanced client-server computing.

-September 93: Marketing project to trial a large Decision Support System in a Major
IBM Customer. In this role Peter deisgned and loaded all tables to be used for the
Decision Support Databases.
September 93: Travelled to the US to gain experience with Decision Support Company

actually implemented advanced Client-Server applications on the IBM Platforms.
DESIGN. Experience designing relational databases to support customer requirements.
