My first position in the trade was as a volunteer laborer. As a young boy that wanted to spend time with his father; I would ride with him to the job site on weekends and was allowed to help scrap or clean up a job beginning at the age of 8. At the age of 12 I began taping firewalls after school and on weekends; and by the age of 16, I was considered a full fledged Journeyman hanger and Taper and began learning Steel Stud Framing. At the age of 18 I began estimating and was put in a Supervisory position and in charge of several different projects. At its peak, Don Yingling Drywall Inc. employed over 300workers and at the age of 25 I became a Responsible Managing Officer.

At 29 years of age I started working for the Superior Court of California as a construction professional and witness for the A.B.S. defective pipe replacement class action law suit, which was won by the class action Plaintiffs for over 140 million. My role after the judgement was granted, was estimating for the cost annalist, witness for the court, quality control, a final cost accounting for the court, fund administrator, & class representatives.

The construction industry, and the Drywall & Steel Stud trade has been a way of life. More than 20 years in the construction industry, starting in the drywall and steel stud framing segment. Including 10 years in Supervision / Project Management, accurate takeoffs, estimating, budgeting, contracting, purchasing, and invoicing. Experience in full on-site construction management; effectively schedule, monitor, and inspect all work from start to project completion. Work effectively with architects, engineers, developers, contractors, inspectors, city officials, decorators, agents, and home buyers.
