Middle School (2005-2007)
Orchestra Director: Directed two orchestras, of 35-50 students
each, which performed on numerous occasions. Provided a full orchestra
experience for students at least once a year. Taught small group lessons,
as well as starting a chamber orchestra and quartets. A lot of experience
teaching ESL students.
Pit Orchestra Director: Directed a full pit orchestra for the
musical each year. Rewrote parts to make them more playable for middle
school students.
Enfield
Elementary School (2005-2006)
Beverly J. Martin Elementary School (2006-2007).
3rd-5th grade Strings Teacher: Recruited and taught about 40 students
at each school for instruction on all four string instruments in one-on-one
or small group lessons. Organized small orchestras at each school, and
performed in several concerts each year.
