Radiation Oncology, the University of Michigan School of Medicine.

Mainly working on a computer-aided detection system for

automatic detection of small brain metastases in post-Gd T1 MRI

and to develop new imaging biomarkers for cancer therapy

assessment.

2010 Graduate Student Instructor Assistant in BME department. BME

450, Biomedical senior design. Mainly advising the design and

construction of fMRI phantom (resulted to the best project

concept and design) and Roboroach (controlling the cockroach

movement via electrode implantation and electrical stimulation)

projects.

2009-2010 Graduate Student Instructor Assistant in BME department. BME

458, Biomedical instrumentation and design: instructing

Electronic filter design and construction, ECG design and

construction with signal acquisition and analysis, EMG design and

construction with signal acquisition and analysis, Pulse Oximetry

principles, design and construction along with advising the final

term projects including the design and construction of robotic arm,

symphony of musical instrumentation and etc.

2007-2008 Graduate Research Assistant, Henry Ford Health System,

Detroit, MI, USA. Collaboration on a psycho-neurological project

between University of Michigan, Henry Ford Health System, Wayne

State University and General Motors. The projects incorporated the

neuro-image data such as MEG and EEG to study the brain behavior

during the simulated car accidents and similar events.

2005-2006 Biomedical Engineer, Shahid Chamran Hospital, Tehran, Iran.

Most importantly, as a supervisor engineer in CCU, ICU, and

Operating Room for medical device performance monitoring. Also,

as a communicator with the different corporations such as GE and

Siemens representatives for the purpose of technology transfer to

the hospital.

2007, The paper entitled An Image Analysis Approach for Automatic

Malignancy Determination of Prostate Pathological Images was selected

as especial issue and Journal Cover in journal of Clinical Cytometry.

2001, Having been admitted to Control and Intelligent Processing Center of

Excellence, the Bioengineering department of University of Tehran through a

nation-wide entrance exam of graduate program among about 10,000 applicants

(during the 6th semester of undergraduate study).

1997, Getting a whole rank of about 200th, and about 50th (while being under

medical care due to a physical injury) among about 300,000 applicants in the

two-step Iranian Universities entrance exam (Konkour of Math & Physics).
