This position included design, implementation and oversight of the company`s Drilling, Cementing, Permitting and Site Development Departments. I was responsible for managing all aspects of the drilling operation inclusive of well design, budget requirements, logistics, vendor negotiations and selection, safety training and procedure implementation. I also developed a marketing plan to secure outside work for rigs during downtime of exploration duties for Gradient. There were a total of 37 in-house well site projects completed during my contract period with Gradient.

I served as the Manager of Drilling Operations which included all requirements of drilling, exploration, production and sales. I wrote and managed all drilling programs, AFE`s and completions. I was responsible for the purchase of all operational supplies, managed all related service companies and trained and managed all logistical personnel. I managed the building of production facilities and was responsible for properly training crew on how to operate; I oversaw all transportation requirements of crude from site at Spanish Lookout to the port at Big Creek. I managed cost control on all activities and handled all reporting requirements of field activities.

I served as Drilling Manager on a two well Deep Geothermal Project for Lunds Energi AB in Southern Sweden. Project involved drilling to 3700m (12,100 ft.) in crystalline basement with air utilizing multinational crews. I managed all areas of the project from writing drilling programs and AFE`s, to selecting contractors and final testing of wells. I also constructed test unit.

I was directly responsible for all turnkey geothermal drilling activities and all bids and contracts. There were a total of 115 geothermal wells drilled in California, Nevada and Utah.

Experience prior to 1984 includes services as a Consultant for Imperial Energy along with several years of Drilling Superintendent work for H & W Drilling and Republic Drilling Company where I was responsible for turnkey projects drilling up to 25,000 ft. in depths and overseeing operations utilizing up to six land rotary rigs simultaneously.

I hold a current certification for H2S and SO2 programs; Well Control & BOP Certificates. I hold Class C57 Drilling Contractor Licenses in the States of California and an A-6 & A-5 in the State of Nevada.
