This position included design, implementation and oversight of the company`s Drilling, Cementing, Permitting and Site Development Departments. I was responsible for managing all aspects of the drilling operation inclusive of well design, budget requirements, logistics, vendor negotiations and selection, safety training and procedure implementation. I also developed a marketing plan to secure outside work for rigs during downtime of exploration duties for Gradient. There were a total of 37 in-house well site projects completed during my contract period with Gradient.

I managed the building of production facilities and was responsible for properly training crew on how to operate; I oversaw all transportation requirements of crude from site at Spanish Lookout to the port at Big Creek. I managed cost control on all activities and handled all reporting requirements of field activities.

I served as Drilling Manager on a two well Deep Geothermal Project for Lunds Energi AB in Southern Sweden. Project involved drilling to 3700m (12,100 ft.) in crystalline basement with air utilizing multinational crews. I managed all areas of the project from writing drilling programs and AFE`s, to selecting contractors and final testing of wells. I also constructed test unit.
