Duties: Served as Equipment Storage and Operations Specialist-Heavy Driver; performing weekly Serviceability Environmental and Physical Security Checks (SEPS) on Left Behind Equipment (LBE) equipment. Assisted the Property Accountable Accesses Visibility Manager (PAAVM) with daily inductions and or re-issue of units equipment; transporting heavy as well as light equipment to and from DOL/MMD, 659th Maintenance and designated unit areas. Assisted with inventorying, uploading and packaging of equipment for retrograde to Central Receiving Point (CRP); down loading Milvans and Connexs. Responsible for operator level PMCS on all maintenance significant items leaving DOL after services has been completed and operating wheeled vehicles and equipment over varied terrain and roadways in support of LBE operations. Assist in the preparations of vehicles for movement/shipment to CRP; checks proper loading and unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers, secures cargo (including BII if present) against inclement weather, pilferage and damage. Operate vehicle component material handling equipment (MHE), as required for LBE storage and inventory support. Acquire and maintains decals on vehicles and equipment, prepares equipment for storage and transportation; receives, stores, issues and assists in the inventory of equipment and/or materials. Assists in the inspection of equipment for completeness, serviceability, and accountability, receives and verifies part numbers, general quantity or condition, and labeling of items. Responsible for identifing all material received for storage. Places materials to be stored in appropriate location ensuring storage site meets weight capacity, space, and security requirements.
