10/13/2009 – 09/09/2011 DPTMS, Training Support Center - Materials Handler/ Defense Logistics Agency, Distribution Process Worker Responsible for the receipt, storage, and selection for shipment of MILES equipment.Designate receiving area, accept, verify and sign for materials. Keeps utilization records and reports defects in operation.Operates a computer terminal to receive and issue MILES equipment. Performs data input and initiate work orders. Conducts inventories and location surveys of items in storage, makes surveillance inspections for obvious preservation needs and reports to Supervisor. Monitors loading and disposition to ensure proper shipment and to prevent loss or damage. Receives, unloads, and processes incoming shipments. Selects items for shipment or issues verifying or preparing documentation either manually or by using automated equipment. Using DSS generated pick tickets or manual systems and material-handling equipment as necessary, locates the material, and selects the stock ensuring inventory accuracy.Repairs and installs storage and shipping items such as boxes, small crates, pallets, dividers and storage bins using wood, wood composites and substitutes, steel bracing and appropriate tools. Packs and repacks a variety of items for shipment utilizing a wide variety of standard packing materials, methods and techniques.Loads and unloads shipments from trucks and other material conveyances using forklift capable of lifting and moving materials weighing up to 15,000 pounds, manual pallet hand trucks, side loaders, warehouse tractors, general-purpose vehicle, and tugs in warehouses.Performs general maintenance on vehicles to include checking for: loose parts; worn tires; proper tire pressure; water in radiator and/or battery; and proper gasoline and oil levels. 07/2008 - 10/2009 Westar Aerospace Ft. Stewart, GA Data Monitor Provide onsite briefings/training to participating unit personnel in FEDC procedures and unit responsibilities. Monitor operation procedures and operating performance on equipment under the FEDC program. Monitor maintenance being performed on equipment under the FEDC program. Collect all operational, supply and maintenance information (data) needed to complete FEDC forms and to write special reports and required monthly reports. Complete all FEDC forms with accurate data in a timely manner after all NSN data has been verified. Enter data in on site computer, process data to include running and correcting edits, transmit data to the DPM and follow all other instructions provided with documentation from technical staff. Run output products from on site computer and maintain records on who requested the output product, what it will be used for and the tangible or intangible benefits derived from it. Maintain other records and forms as directed by DPM, DMs Guide, or as required by the contract. Gives advice and assistance as required resolving problems and assuring continuity of efforts.

Garden City, GA Materials Manager Manage the day-to-day operations of Material Management in designated areas that may include Business Office functions, Centralized Inventory Support, Centralized Shipping and Receiving and Courier functions.
