Construction Management Services, Inc., New Jersey - President and Director of Project Development responsible for company operations and project development. Mr. Page joined CMS in 2009 as VP of Construction where he managed a team of 15 Project Managers and 20 project Superintendents. Mr. Page was responsible for all Design/Build activities including design management, construction management, budget development and control, training, safety programs, development and implementation of management systems and procedures, as well as new client development. After serving as VP for six months Mr. Page was promoted to President after the death of the company`s founder. As President Mr. Page was responsible for all company activities and moved CMS from a small fit-out contractor to a full service General Construction company involved in the design and construction of major medical facilities, hotels, office centers and data centers across the U.S., as well as several projects in Europe and Russia. After the death of the founder`s wife in July, 2012 the remaining family members have decided to sell CMS`s assets and close the company.
2004 - 2007
Island Capital, NY/FL Director of Development Services (contract position) assigned to the Ft Lauderdale office as manager over the design and construction of the $260million project on St Thomas, USVI. In this role Mr. Page held full responsibilities over budget development and control, staffing and training, procedure development, design management, construction and budget for the entire project. Additional responsibilities include lease space design and construction. He assisted marketing with showing and leasing spaces, as well. Island Capital is a real estate development company involved in the design/development and construction of restaurants, hi-rise office buildings, elite mixed use restaurant/retail/resorts, hotels and marinas in the Caribbean and Dubai. Mr. Page was the project executive in charge of a large development under construction on St Thomas, USVI that included all site work, 23 new buildings for retail, restaurant and office space, as well as a new super marina with a total of 160 slips for mega yachts of lengths up to 450'.
1998 - 2004
Johnson Controls, Inc.: Milwaukee, WI. - Senior Project Executive for a leader in manufacturing and installation of environmental controls. Global leader involved in general construction and energy savings projects. Mr. Page was assigned to the Center of Excellence in Milwaukee where he was responsible for the development of project management systems and procedures, safety programs, etc. Once these systems and procedures were completed Mr. Page and the Center of Excellence team were responsible for the training and supervision of project managers globally. His duties included estimating, scope development, scheduling and cost management for new projects with a cost value of more than $4OMillion. Mr. Page managed a team of project managers involved in the $110Million renovations of the Pentagon and a series of projects at the National Institute of Health with a total contract value of $98Million. Although he managed several industrial and educational projects, medical facilities were his primary area of expertise, including the management of several design-build hospital projects that the company constructed in a joint venture relationship with local general contractors. Mr. Page received the Chairman's Award for Excellence.
1976 -1998
Corporate Surroundings International: Director of Operations and Project Management for a large developer/design-build general construction company based in St. Joseph, MO primarily involved in the development and construction of shopping centers, hotels, restaurants, tenant finish-out and high-rise office buildings, world wide. Mr. Page was responsible for budget development and control, staffing, training, safety programs, development and implementation of management systems and procedures, design management, construction and renovation of restaurants, large shopping centers, small hospitals, doctor's offices, and diagnostic imaging facilities through out the United States as well as 14 medical diagnostic imaging suites on U. S. military bases across the U. S. and 8 foreign bases. The international projects also consisted of hotels, major medical facilities and computer facilities for U.S. companies with large international campuses in countries like Russia, Ukraine, several European countries, South Africa and the Middle East. These projects required close coordination of all aspects of operations including liaison with foreign and American governments. Projects ranged from $2Million to more than $60Million in value.
1971 -1974
The Schwarz Company: Project Superintendant for a successful Dallas, TX general construction and development company. Mr. Page first joined The Schwarz Company as a laborer after returning home from serving two year in Viet Nam. He worked days on numerous construction projects while attending Carpenter`s Local 198 trade school nights and weekends. After one year Mr. Page received his journeyman`s certification and was promoted to Project Superintendant where he managed the construction of several large office facilities and chemical plants in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Mr. Page attended night classes at The University of Texas at Arlington studying Architecture and left The Schwarz Company in 1974 to continue his education on a full time basis.
1967 -1971
U.S. Air Force: Sargent. Mr. Page enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in September of 1971 after graduation from High School in Grand Prairie, TX. He served as a Data System`s Analysis while stationed at Dover AFB Dover, DE where he quickly gained the rank of Sargent. Also while stationed at Dover, Mr. Page attended night classes in the Architecture department at The University of Delaware. After two years of duty at Dover Mr. Page was reassigned to Tonsanuit AFB Saigon, Viet Nam where he served two years in a joint forces intelligence unit. Upon completion of his four years active duty Mr. Page returned to the United States in 1971 and received an Honorable Discharge.
