and management of many applications for over 300 Electric Systems Operation and

Maintenance personnel for this Arizona electric power provider. Also responsible for

custom application development and project management for other divisions within this

Contracted by independent firm to provide the City with a work management / change

request management application. This application replaced a manual system of spreadsheets

and reports. Utilized VB 6.0, MS Access as front-end tools with ODBC interfaces to legacy

databases and other data sources. This application is completed and I am currently

involved in estimating/preparing a much larger application that will replace an outdated

Clipper database used for scheduling and tracking Tree-Trimming and related maintenance

work city-wide.

Micon Corporation, Phoenix, AZ - Aug. 1997 to September 1998

Senior consultant contracted through my own license to develop a project management

application, in VB 5.0 and MS Access that assists in the preparation and management of

proposals for this large consulting corporation.

Evans Withycombe, Scottsdale, AZ - Mar 1997 to Nov. 1997

Developed a Reporting and Administrative auditing application with interfaces to MS

Access and legacy Clipper databases for this property management and facilities management

company.

Bank of America, Phoenix, AZ - Mar 1997 to Jun. 1997

Constructed a financial application and security management interface to MS Access

databases and other bank systems. The primary function of this system was to maintain

network security, schedule software requests and facilitate software ordering within this

financial corporation.

PCS Health Systems, Scottsdale, AZ - Jan 1997 to May 1998Senior consultant

contracted through a private firm and (later) through my own license to

develop, and later manage, an auditing and reference system for use by the Federal

Government, a client of this pharmaceutical and prescription clearing company. This

application was developed in MS Access on a Sequel Server network. Other users of the

completed system included Motorola, Intel, and local government agencies. Secondary

systems developed during this period include an inventory and warehousing management

system and an automatic order-processing interface to legacy systems. Received letter of

Multipoint Tax Systems, Scottsdale, AZ - Dec. 1996 to Apr. 1997

Created stand-alone financial code modules that was used to generate financial reports

and tax schedules for this tax company. These applications were then launched from within

a Progress application as stand alone modules from that application.

Wells Fargo Bank, Tempe, AZ - Oct. 1996 to Jan 1997

Developed a series of complex financial reports using MS Access and managed internal

Wells Fargo programmers with the construction of a database to be used during this bank! s

merger with First Interstate Bank of AZ.

Van Teal Manufacturing, Phoenix, AZ - Sept. 1996 to Apr. 1997

Develop a complex manufacturing and production controls application using VB 5.0 for this

equestrian competition clothing manufacturer. This system replaced a manual system of

spreadsheets and charts.

City of Chandler Police Department, Chandler, AZ - Aug. 1996 to Sept. 1996

Contracted by the city to take over the development of an existing application that their

own (IS) department was unable to complete. Acted as both the primary developer and the

manager of a small internal development team. This application imported and processed

Oracle data after it had been downloaded to the network from Clipper databases contained

on officer laptops. Received a letter of recognition.

PF Technologies, Tempe, AZ - Jun. 1996 - Sept. 1996

Developed a complete inventory and invoicing system with interfaces to MS Access for use

by this plastics manufacturer. I was contracted by another consulting firm to take over

the development of this application when the programmer assigned by that firm was unable

to complete the project. Solely responsible for saving the contract for the consulting

firm. Received letter of recognition.

Allied Signal Aerospace, Phoenix, AZ - May 1995 to September 1998Senior consultant and Project Development Manager

contracted through a private firm and

(later) through my own business license to develop and manage several work management

systems for this large aircraft engines manufacturer. All were network applications with

interfaces to Oracle, Clipper and Sequel Server and were developed in VB 5.0, VB 6.0, or

MS Access. Applications included an in-house system for tracking failure incident reports

of military aircraft engines manufactured by this company and a !Best Practices! system

for managing and identifying work processes of staff engineers. Received a letter of

recognition.
