2006 An adaptation of Shakespeare s Macbeth, performed by the professional company Theatre Britain
at the Trinity River Arts Center in March, 2006. The text and notes were created in collaboration
with Professor Robin Armstrong.
2006 Wrote and presented as a staged reading an orginial play in progress titled Iconoclast at the
Ensemble Studio Theatre s summer conference in Lexington, NY.

2006 A biographical entry on playwright and director Barbara Lebow published in the Greenwood Press

2005 A performance review of Jose Rivera s Marisol, produced by the Risk Initiative Theatre in Dallas,
TX, published in the Baylor Journal of Theatre and Performance.
2004 An adaptation of Christopher Marlowe s Doctor Faustus, performed by the Baylor Theatre and
published with dramaturgical notes in the Baylor Journal of Theatre and Performance. The text
and notes were created in collaboration with Dr. DeAnna Toten Beard.
2003 Collaborated with graduate students on a presentation for the Art and Soul conference,
Redemption, Reconciliation, and Resurrection: Shakespeare s The Winter s Tale
2000 Updated and presented a workshop, Acting Style: How to be Real in an Unreal Place, at the
national CITA conference, Ridgecrest, NC, in June.
2000 Authored a 20 minute sketch, Peter and his Wife, presented at the national CITA conference,
Ridgecrest, NC, in June. The sketch was performed with an ACU theatre student.
1998 Served as one of three panelists in a discussion workshop titled, The Theatrical Representation of
Evil and the Christian College/University Stage, held at Seattle Pacific University for the national
CITA conference in June.
1997 Presented for a Writing Across the Curriculum colloquium, Abilene Christian University.
1996 Staged selections from The World Goes Round for a televised perfomance benefiting the City of
Abilene and the Paramount Theatre, August 20.

2010 Received, along with the cast of Bach at Leipzig, Circle Theatre, a Dallas-Fort Worth Critics
Forum Ensemble Award for the 2009-10 production season.
2007 Received an Arts and Humanities Faculty Development Grant to work with the Resonance
Ensemble in producing Arthur Giron s The Coffee Trees and Chekhov s The Cherry Orchard.
2006 Received an Arts and Humanities Faculty Development Grant to study playwrighting with
Ensemble Studio Theatre Lexington Conference Center

2002 Received the Column award, sponsored by Dallas Summer Musicals as Best Featured Actor in a
