Food and Beverage Supervisor

From 2006 to 2010 Lead Bartender:

Responsible for executing daily operations in the beverage department. Set up of bars, assign work stations and coordinate work to promote efficiency of the companies missions and goals including providing excellent customer service. I Supervised twelve (12) to sixteen (16) employees. Assist employees in servicing the guests drinks, insuring the cleanliness of the casino floor, cabert lounge, self serve station and service bars. Assist in responsible serving of patrons, also assist employees with cut-offs of patrons showing signs of intoxication. I have years of experience in this area and feel very comfortable in executing a cut-off with tact and easy.I assist with voids, giving breaks to bartenders, servers and covered full shifts when needed.

2006 to 2012 In both areas: I handle tills and currency up to $1,600.00. Wrote and preformed appraisals, disciplinary write ups, conducted interviews selected and hired new employees. Assigned long term employees to train new employees. I checked in with the new employee to ensure they are making progress and inquirer for any assistants or questions they may have.

From 2010 to 2012 Front of House Supervisor:

Responsible for three (3) food venues Deli, Buffet and the Grille (fine dinning).Trained employees in the performance duties of line cooking, hostess-cashiering, prep cooking and serving the guests. Making sure employees achieving significant improvements in their productivity. Successfully handled banquets up to 130 guests. Ensure the proper handling of food preparation, quality and properly cooked food items to ensure tempters were correct. Prepared work schedules, resolved conflicts, determined increase salary's, worked on payroll and any problems that could arise from payroll.

On weekends and holidays my main focus was the Grille (Fine dinning). I helped to prepare monthly and weekly menus, supervised the serving of meals making sure the quality and preparation of plates match the the quality of food and customer satisfaction. I love the fine dinning atmosphere. I enjoyed going into the room to check-in with the guests and being able to have the opportunity to get to know them.

2005 to 2006 B.J.'s Bingo:

While going to Ashmead collage in fife for massage I worked at B.J.'s Bingo. For six (6) months I sold tickets, cashiered and host the front desk. The other six (6) months I bartend in Smoky Joe's lounge.
