Highlights

Fiber Outside - Run LLC strand to send lite to multi port. Measure and install Fiber drop for aerial drop to home or for under ground install. Check fiber light with light meter. USB or Ethernet into zyxel z-nid and provision with laptop.

Fiber Inside - Rewire home with Cat 5/coax in crawl space or attic wall fish. Punch down all Cat 5 jacks and/or splice coax. Install Cisco set-top boxes. Explain to customer about services provided and operate remote. Install Cat 5 for Ethernet modem. Provision modem into clear access and set-up WIFI.

Copper - Reading work orders. Running jumpers at Nod or cross connect. Install aerial drop or place temp on ground. Place I-Pro on side of house. Install Cat 5 to designated area. Install and provision modem in clear access.

Voice on Copper - Run jumpers from information on Work Order. Call programming to program lens. Install outside and inside to get voice lines working.

Equipment Worked On - Provision modems in clear access software. Provisioning Zone Z-Nid. Provisioned Netopia, Zone, RG Modems and Zyxel wireless USB cards. Install Ethernet cards. Troubleshoot customers CPE and Laptop on Internet connection.

Accomplishments

After working with NorthState Communications 2 years I was training all new employees. Climbing tests, Fiber Outside & Inside install, Copper Internet and Voice and trained them on repair.
