Accomplishments

I was a leader on my college campus as University Center Board Student Counsel Activities Director, All Campus Counsel with my sorority, I worked with children every chance I got from a after school teacher role to roles at church. I taught kindergarten and fourth grade while student teaching. My supervising teachers highly recommend me for hire. I substitute taught soon after college while working on my graduate degree and raising support for full-time mission work. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and was offered a full-time teaching job. I saw that I could connect with students easily and was encouraged that my fellow teachers and principal felt that I was particularly suited for teaching elementary students. I was offered a teaching job in that district.

After getting married and having children I had a strong desire to stay at home with my young children and to use my teaching skills at home in a home school environment. I have also worked as a partner with my husband in college ministry. Over the past 14 years, I have had many experiences as a home school teacher and leader among college age students that have been used to develop me into a great addition to your team! I believe in the philosophies of your school and understand the desires of a parent who has children that are dearly loved under the influence of their teacher.
