Operations Processor II

Wachovia Bank

I have worked in several different departments within the Bank. I started working when it was known as First Union and have been there ever since. I worked in the Proof Department for 7 years keying customers deposits, electric bills,business deposits and checking and savings accounts transactions. I worked in the Research Dept for 6 years researching apco bills, teller outages and making copies of customer's transactions as needed. I worked in Consumer Loans Department for 5 years keying customers loan payments in a timely manner. I also processed lien's on titles and pulled customers records from files on a needed basis. I handled stock certificates and was responsible for making sure they were kept locked in a secure area. I am currently working in the Undeliverable Mail Department where i process checks on brokerage accounts to find a better address to mail to customers because they are returned to us with bad addresses and i search several systems to locate the correct address for the customer to receive their checks. I receive mail from the post office on brokerage statements and have to ensure they are done in a timely manner. I receive internal phone calls from branches when they are looking for a check or statement that the customer has not received. I also process address changes that come in to locate a better address for the customer or i have to send to a financial advisor at a branch to further assist. I am on productivity and always exceed my goals each month with little or no errors. I assist others with any questions they may arise. I did help out my supervisor when needed on a daily basis.
