- 6/98UNION FEDERAL SAVINGS BANK, Member of the Waterfield
Group, Indianapolis, Indiana. Vice President and Director of
Marketing. Asset Size $2.3 billion. Employed to direct the banks
marketing function. This included market planning, market research,
direct mail, advertising, point-of-sale, sponsorships/client
entertainment, customer profitability systems and database marketing.
Implemented deposit-pricing strategies resulting in lower interest
expense while generating deposit growth. Made company-wide marketing
recommendations for increases in budget efficiency/performance.
Analyzed and implemented over $150,000 in annualized cost savings in 6
months. Savings areas included:

* Relationship building with local newspaper groups.

million. Employed to develop and communicate through various mediums
(personal contact, television, radio, newsprint, direct mail, outdoor
signs) our company's image, products and services to customers and
prospects in an efficient and effective manner so to achieve corporate
objectives.
Managed the business development sales program and implemented monthly
business development product training. Managed the Electronic Cash
Management Department (BankConnect, ACH), the Dimension Club (Senior
Club), and MCIF (Management Central Information File) System. Built
customer profitability models and implemented phase one customer
management system.
Types of decisions managed: marketing management (budget=$500,000),
marketing information, product, price, distribution channels,
promotion, and public relations. Member of the Strategic Planning
Committee, ALCO, and chairman of the Deposit Committee. Worked closely
with seventeen banking center managers on both deposit and lending
promotions. Negotiated purchases of equipment and services. Developer
and member of the Bancorp's executive marketing committee. Managed
customer entertainment activities.

Trust and Asset Management Group, Terre Haute, Indiana. Trust
Marketing Officer. Asset size $600 million. Employed to develop and
implement the trust marketing plan, develop and maintain the employee
referral program, and develop new business (both personal trust and
employee benefit) from outside sources. Key products include: personal
trusts, qualified retirement plans, and investment agency accounts.
Key programs established include: the employee referral program, the
overall trust marketing program, and finance and management
educational seminars.
Other duties include: responsible for the trust marketing budget,
account administration, investment management, planning and organizing
the Fall Ladies Luncheon, Attorney Function and Accountants Dinner.
Organized information for OCC examination. Managed customer
entertainment activities.

offering products to fill the gap between Trust and Retail Bank
