Accomplishments

When I worked at Tom Thumb I always resolved problems with the costumers if their food was not to their standards I proposed a different meal, but still made money. Always made sure the customers stayed happy and came back to enjoy our food. I helped reduce the stress in the work place when we had a lot of people that came in for lunch or kids after games. I made sure everyone had there food when it was still hot and made a fast not sloppy performance. My boss came up to me and confronted me on my hard work and performance and he was thankful for my patience.

Work Experience

January 2012 to May 2012

Tom Thumb Dr. Thru Fort Dodge, Iowa

Waitress

I was a very hard worker, very respectful, and a fast learner. I was always nice to my customers and made sure we met their needs. I had good patience and kept work flowing and peaceful even when things got hectic. We had Three buses full of kids and also the regulars that came in, but I made sure everyone was happy. I kept things going at a fast but not sloppy pace with carrying out food and taking orders. My boss took me to the side and told me what a good job i have been doing with getting the orders out on time and having patience with the customers. When I went to school I had to be there from 8:00am - 11:00am, Tom Thumb needed my help so right after school I went straight to work, went to the bathroom, changed, and started work and sometimes I would have to work at 5:00pm so I did a lot of double shifts which was fine because without me things would be crazy. I quit the job because I found out I was pregnant, and they kept mixing up my pay, also my head boss was very rude at times and made the work place even more stressful and I could stand it, but once I found out I was pregnant I figured It would not be healthy for me to be in a stressful work place.

Education

12 Gordon Willard Alternative School Fort Dodge, Iowa

general

I had to go to an alternative school, because you could work at your own pace and skip the things you already new. I did not graduate because I became pregnant and at the end of the school year I had my daughter. I stayed in school up till I could manage to go. They let me take my maternity leave before I had my daughter; I was very sick and miserable. I only had five credits left, but could not accomplish them with it being short to crunch time to graduate, but I can go start my G.E.D any Friday.
