Assistant Store Manager
I was responsible for the running of the store in the store manager's absence. I opened and closed the store. I had to prepare bank deposits, set up and pull cashier drawers, and ring on register when needed. I was responsible for approving payroll and employee scheduling. I maintained the sales floor standards as well as the warehouse. I had to assist in unloading trucks and following the company guidelines with that process. I also assisted with setting up new ads. I had to set up new planograms for the sales floor as they were sent out by the company, and getting them completed by the due date and time. I was also responsible for coaching and training the employees and achieving sales goals for each day.

Commission Sales Associate
While at Sears I held several different positions. I started out as a sales associate in the women's department. I used the POS system as well as kept the sales floor maintained. I then became the MOD for the Juniors department which gave me the added responsibility of changing floor plans and displays, and replenishing the floor. I then became an associate in the hardware department for the replenishment team. I was responsible for scanning the floor of out of stocks and then filling what we had and ordering what we did not have. After that I became the Women's Lead which i was responsible for the whole women's department scheduling, replenishing, changing of floor plans. I then became the Inventory and Pricing Lead where I worked under the In Store Marketing team. I was responsible for all price changes in the store as well as assisting with setting up the new ads. I left Sears briefly and came back as a commission sales associate in Lawn and Garden.
