WORK EXPERIENCE

I was the department Manager over 2 departments (1) Fabric Dept), (2) Craft dept

* I was over 5 associates

* I made their schedules, and the daily work tasks

* Did daily paperwork, inventories, on computer and gave classes

* Unloaded merchandise and checked items in on a invoice

* Worked one on one with my workers, and customers to make them feel comfortable.

* I helped the department to be one of the top Fabric departments in the company, and I was used as an example to other stores, also, I was asked to teach at other meetings to help others reach their goal. I was asked to teach since I was mindful on ways to save and profit and good at helping my customers reach their goals.

* Did daily computer work which consist of checking in goods checking for errors, logging in numbers. And keep track of what sold and what didn't. I work to make whatever I do the best, also did a lot of paperwork on deadlines. I do my best in all I do

I am a fast learner. Took classes on safety monthly which helped us to win safety awards, .I like working with and meeting new people, I like working on the computer and learning new programs which I pick up very quickly, I am a leader and work well on my own and with others, am self motivated, if I see something that needs to be done I do it I don't wait to be told, I believe everyone should be dedicated to their job while they are on duty. I also can multitask, which I learned on both jobs I have done. I like to settle into a job long term job and stay with it and be able to grow in a career, not just a job.

In 1999 I left Wal-Mart to stay home with our infant son, and our 11 year old daughter. This has been a rewarding time in our lives but now my daughter is grown and our son is older, I am ready once again to work at a rewarding job which I can stay in and grow.

2000-2005 Worked for the Kelly School system in the kitchen as a cook, and server.

2005-2009 Worked at Kelly Schools as a cook, with Chartwells food service the last 4 years at Kelly school in I currently work for Aramark correctional services at Scott County Jail supervising 6 inmates in the kitchen. I guide them in the cooking and cleaning needs in the kitchen. I also check in trucks and stock the kitchen pantries and freezer, by the first in first out method of stocking our foods in the storage areas. I also help in weekly inventories. Teach inmates methods of cooking, cleaning, and putting up merchandise the right way to move our inventories, and reduce waste in our food to help our line of profit.

Cook and councilor for Charleston Baptist Association (July 2005-present) 2005-2009

I am also the Head cook and planner for the Charleston Baptist Association 3 weeks in July for the past 4 years

I make the menus for the 2 week camp, order supplies, purchase and pickup items. I stock the kitchen, prepare food, and serve the food. I also guide the volunteers' that come in to help with the duties that need to be done to get ready to serve. I also assist the kids in any matter that may arise. I am also support staff for the pastors and counselors any time they need assistance with the kids. One week we have kids from grade 3rd to the 6th. The second week we work with teenagers grades 7 thru 12th. I enjoy this job I only do it 3 weeks out of the year. In July.

August (10-14th 2009) Worked with JL janitor service out of Cape Girardeau

Cleaned 40 kitchens, and bedrooms, at Cape Place apartments, getting them ready for college students to move into.

My interests:

I enjoy working with people of all ages, I fell all people should be treated with respect. Work at my church with children and teens. Did girl scouts for 11 years till 2002; I enjoy helping people of all ages to be the best they can be. Also work with people of all ages at our summer camps in July. I love to do crafts of all kind .I also make and design jewelry.
