Highlights
Experienced Machine Operator with extensive skills in Warehouse, Factory, and Production who possess excellent problem solving skills and works well with minimum supervision. Great attention to detail, and taking initiatives. Challenged by meeting deadlines, very dependable and a quick learner.
Provide custom injection molding products for thermoplastic injection molding, insert molding, overmolding, brush making and assembly. Primary products include lip balm containers, brushes and scrubs, control and cable enclosures, filter components, medical labware and a variety of other custom products. Secondary operations include assembly, labeling, decorating, spin welding, ultrasonic welding and heat staking.
While working in a semi-clean room, assisted in production tool set up, line clearance and preparation, production monitoring, machine purging and tray adjustments to ensure maximum run times. Specific attention to detail was needed during hourly part sampling to meet compliance with company policies and FDA guidelines. Close coordination was needed with supervisors, leads, scheduler, equipment engineers and quality engineers during the entire production cycle.

Accomplishments
Having been in the medical industry for the last 13 years has afforded me the opportunity to travel around the country, and grow as an individual and learn the value of being an intricate part of a team. Now that I am at a cross road in my life, I seek fulfillment In other varied aspects of my career to which I have vast experience in. In addition to my recent experience in my target field, I financed the pursuing of my Surgical Technologist Degree with manufacturing jobs. One to which provided me with training in their Parent company, Bonar Yarns. Located in Gant Germany at the time. On completion of a weeks training I returned to the Untied States, and trained my fellow employees on that machinery and its processes. I also functioned as a team leader within that company.
Prior to that I was employed by Milliken. Milliken is an innovation company that has been exploring, discovering, and creating ways to enhance people's lives since 1865. Their community of innovators has developed one of the largest collections of patents held by a private company. With expertise across a breadth of disciplines including specialty
chemicals, floor coverings, and performance materials. I also held a team leader position within Milliken, Within their Gortex divison to which we manufactured the raw material for Gortex. I composed the slogan "We Are Covering You" for our team member's t-shirts.
I was also afforded the opportunity to work with Mohawk carpets. Mohawk is a leading supplier of flooring for both residential and commercial applications. Mohawk offers a complete selection of carpet, ceramic tile, wood, stone, laminate, vinyl, rugs and other home products. These products are marketed under the premier brands in the industry, which include Mohawk, Karastan, Ralph Lauren, Lees, Bigelow, Quick Step, Dal-Tile and American Olean.
