Worldwide Protective Service, U.S. Embassy (U.S. Department of State - Special Operations Consultants) November 2011 to Present

Serving as Protection Specialist for the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq. Duties and responsibilities include interaction with Executive Foreign and U.S. State Department Diplomats and their security details to include Senior U.S. and Iraqi General Officers; site security surveys; operation of sensitive equipment and assets accountability; implementation of Explosive Dog Detection Teams on the venue; directly responsible for the protection of U.S. state department personnel and property and supervision of 30+ personnel. In addition, assisted in training 3rd country nationals in physical fitness and weapons qualification and maintenance.

Project Manager, Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Clean-Up (BP/O`Brien`s) April 2010-June 2011

Served as Project Manager during various stages of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill clean-up in several locations including; Grand Isle and Venice, LA; Mobile, AL; and Gulfport and Biloxi, MS. Duties and responsibilities included the implementation and completion of the Shoreline Treatment Recommendation (STR) plan designed for each clean-up area by the U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, the Louisiana Office of Coastal Protection and Restoration (OCPR), and the Shoreline Cleanup Assessment Team. As an Project Manager, Mr. Cranmer was responsible for achieving the highest level of clean-up possible under the guidelines and restrictions contained within the STR plan. OCPR permitted the use of mechanical equipment to remove oil as a result of techniques designed by Mr. Cranmer, thereby significantly increasing the speed and efficiency of the clean-up operation in the Louisiana Gulf Coast area.

Site Security Manager, U.S. Embassy (U.S. Department of State - Triple Canopy) 2009-2010

Served as a Site Security Manager for the U.S. Embassy located in Baghdad, Iraq. Duties and responsibilities included: interaction with Executive Foreign and U.S. State Department Diplomats and their security details to include Senior U.S. and Iraqi General Officers; site security surveys; operation of sensitive equipment and assets accountability; implementation of Explosive Dog Detection Teams on the venue; and incorporation of local, national, and international interpreters/screeners. Also responsible for management and training of Third Country National Guard force allocated to the venue that included:

* Weapons training including M-4s, 9mm, 240/249B machine guns

Project Supervisor (Battalion Sergeant Major) 2003 - 2009

As Senior Adviser and Trainer for the National Guard and Army Reserve, planned, coordinated, and executed multiple combat training venues including IED lanes, entry control point procedures,Small arms ranges and forward operating base defense lanes for over 17,000 Reserve Component Soldiers annually deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan; simultaneously provided training support teams across the southeastern United States to assist in the development of annual training plans; provided job specialty training; and assessment of that training based on standard operating procedures. Routinely balanced competing and often conflicting priorities to effectively execute all required missions with available resources and was directly responsible for the staffing and certification of trainers, financial and equipment accountability, logistics & maintenance practices and all construction projects. Developed and implemented strategic planning and risk management/mitigation. In addition:

* Managed 200 personnel organized in ten training teams that plan, coordinate, and execute training support and evaluations in an ever changing environment.

* Served as a Department of Defense Liaison with MEMA/FEMA for federally declared emergencies in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee.

* Saved over $2M leading the construction of multiple training venues at Camp Shelby.

* Ranked the best of seven Project Supervisors throughout his tenure.

Senior Operations Officer (Brigade Operations NCOIC) 2001 - 2003

Planned, trained, coordinated, and synchronized the daily operations of multiple organizations and over 1800 personnel. Assisted in the forecasting and administration of an annual budget in excess of $1M. Developed and executed the operational plans for 50 high level trainers responsible for training the National Guard and Reserve Forces across the southeastern United States.
