Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic Level WG-10 Employed at RRAD as full time mechanic forty(40) to sixty (60) hours a week . I presently work with Red River Army Depot I have been employed with RRAD since August 2011. My current and past experience as a heavy duty mechanic includes but not limited to are Combat Tactical Track Vehicles and Heavy Mobile Equipment Wheeled Vehicles. I perform extensive repairs that are required n power take off units, or components from vehicles, applicable items that are required to be removed and sent off to specialty shops I remove and send to correct shop with paperwork and issue identified with equipment. I diagnose the issue or malfunction of defective vehicle i then will repair/replace items as needed to improve quality of vehicle repair equipment to all safety regulations and guidelines I take pride in cost,service and safety.I determine cause of malfunction of vehicles rejected by Quality Inspectors . i perform pre-shop analysis which includes full inspection or full disassembly of major components of vehicle or vehicle itself. I have experience with reading technical manuals,diagrams, schematics,DMWR'S work orders. I can perform all of the tasks listed with little or o supervision . I can take orders from supervisors either written or verbal. I travel to other military installations to perform these tasks that may need my special skills and knowledge with no problems .
