Subject: Job Well Done

Ron,

I'm continuing to receive positive feedback from many of our Sales Reps that

sat though the Cognos training last week. I have since sent them test cubes and

several of them are "playing" with their own test data. They are not "afraid"

to use the tool, THEY ARE USING IT

! Success! You did it!

When you arrived at Avery on 1/11/00 I presented you with a job that even I

thought was next to impossible to effectively accomplish. On 1/19/00, we were

laughing about it. Why, because we pulled it off.

I want you to know that I do realize that there would have been no way for us to

be successful at this without the outstanding set of skills that you utilized to

make this happen. You looked at the job at hand, figured out a way to get the

job done, then you got the job done. Your patience, understanding and

professionalism was displayed in all of your work. Your dedication, working the

long hours, is one of many things that helped us to get this done in such a

short time period. Your knowledge of the tool and ability to work so well with

others was leveraged well in your work.

One of the things that definitely amazed me the most was your ability to take

all of the pressure, all of the work, all of the people, all of the emotions and

put all of these things together to get the job done in not just a successful

way, but a FUN way. Our whole team really had fun working this. Yet another key

to success.

Thanks again Ron, I truly did enjoy working with you. Cognos definitely has a

"happy customer" on this one.

Dave
