* In 1 year promoted to Executive Director over both Connecticut Staffing Works and Lend-A-Hand. Spearheaded the restructuring of Connecticut Staffing Works to return profitability and reach 600k in annual profit from the red over a 6 month time frame.

Maxim Healthcare Services

* Successfully implemented the start-up and development of Medicare certified home healthcare business in Connecticut from $0 to $25 million in annual revenue and 800 full time and per diem employees in 4 years.

* Achieved office of the year which is determined by growth in profitability out of 300 nationwide offices for one of the nation`s largest home healthcare companies. Additionally awarded Northeast Region office of the year twice out of 81 offices. Earned top tier stock and bonuses each year as a manager.

* While maintaining responsibility over homecare and with no prior experience in habilitative services the executive team comprising of the General Manager and Clinical Director created a new company CareFocus by spearheading and writing 10 RFP`s for the State of Connecticut which was divesting itself of state run group homes. Senior General Manager

* Responsible for start-up of Medicare certified home healthcare services in the state of CT for nationwide provider. Achieved state licensure, federal certification and JCAHO accreditation. Development and executed a successful business plan that achieved in network contracts with every major healthcare insurance company in Connecticut as well as multiple regional contracts for the Northeast Region. The complete process from hunting/prospecting to negotiation and execution of the contracts were the responsibility of this position. The hunting/prospecting and cultivating of relationships from the healthcare provider community i.e. hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living communities, state and federal entities such as Department of Social Services and the Veterans Administration were also accomplished in this role.

* Capitalizing on the state divesting of publicly run group homes was an opportunity that was seized upon to expand our services. Between the Administrator and Clinical Director policies and procedures were constructing and approved by the state. A full and part-time staff of over 60 individuals was hired, trained and credentialed in order to run the homes. A behavioral clinical management team was assembled to manage the staff in each home while the executive leadership had responsibility to run the overall program.

* In addition to the increased revenue and profit generated this venture served as a model for corporate growth nationwide. In national and regional meetings as Administrator training seminars were developed and attendance was mandatory for all managers nationwide.

* Execution of these services is significant due to the 100% responsibility of the lives of the people who reside in the group homes. All aspects from doctors` appointments, food, feeding, clothing, recreation, personal care needs, personal development, housing and housing maintenance are the responsibility of the program.
