EXPERIENCE
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT - Since 2007, as the Food Protection and Public Health Liaison and Food Protection Team Leader for the Natick Soldier Research Development and Engineering Center - DOD Combat Feeding Directorate. Liaise with DOD Veterinary Services Activity, US Army Public Health Command, other services public health personnel, regulatory agencies, and academic partners on all matters related to food protection. Provide unique end-user perspective early in the defense acquisition process to facilitate transition of only the most relevant technologies to the Warfighter. Lead a newly established, high-profile, science and technology Team conducting research in; development and validation of novel agent identification and detection platforms, food safety risk analysis tools, and novel pathogen reduction.

Fully responsible for all aspects of the Area`s Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments for more than 60 geographically dispersed food manufacturing facilities within six Middle Eastern countries.
