Job scope entails the rebuilding of a 34700 M3 tank (had exploded), supporting a crew of 6 boilermakers and 1 crane operator at the Shell In-Situ Peace River Complex.Responsibilities included:Maintain site required documentation related to safety issues/concerns (i.e. accident reports, inspection reports and training logs).Monitor permit conditional requirements and prepare associated reports.Design and implement high angle rescue procedures and fall protections plans.Maintain safety policy and procedures.Investigate accidents, incidents or near misses, and determine root cause.Perform daily audits for proper PPE and Field Level Hazard Risk Assessment paperwork.Coordinate and chair morning and weekly safety meetings, including daily debrief sessions.Respond to emergency situations in a profound manner.
