Joined the Center For Sight/Watertown Eye Center in June of 2007 as a receptionist, which included traveling to satellite locations. Duties included answering phones, scheduling appointments, chart management and data entry.
Cross trained in billing posting and medical records, which included organization of paper medical charts and preparation of clinics.
Received a promoted within one year to head receptionist that managed 3-4 staff members. This included
monitoring clinic schedules, data entry accuracy, correspondence with offsite clinics for a nursing home.
Additional duties were assigned after a few months, and became an administrative assistant. Duties were to assist in insurance credentialing and payroll spreadsheet data entry.
