Teacher Candidate
Taught Read Naturally, Wilson's phonics, Visualize and Verbalization and many other necessary lessons to a resource class of 39 students and adjusted the lessons to fit their personal educational needs. To meet these needs it was sometimes necessary to adapt general education lessons to a more basic structure ensuring they had a good foundation to build on.
Developed individual educational plans (IEP) designed to promote educational, physical and social development. I also enhanced lessons using Smart Board technology and computers to assist in learning and attention retention. I led instruction resource services at the elementary level in all subjects. I conducted individual, small group, and whole class activities with students based on differentiated learning needs.
