Accomplishments
Grant obtained for a temporary children's shelter which i was involved with in every area of planning and the proposal phase. This shelter is now in Mohave Valley, Arizona. ( I worked with Marty Adams, formerly with Catholic Social Services). This was strictly a voluntary basis. I wanted to see Kingman, Arizona or Mohave county have such a provision for children from domestic abuse situations as well as run aways.
Introduced and help compile a community resource book for social services.
Since I have last worked, I have continued to volunteer for many programs through my church(es), that involve humanitarian involvement.
I also worked in the Chapter I program with, formerly, Kingman Elementary School District IV, as an assistant for the students who qualified for the program at the Black Mountain Elementary school. Prior to that, I was a assistant and worked with the school Psychologist at the same school. Both positions accumulated approximately two years. (This was a paid position).

Interviewed clients individually and with families to determine what services would best address their needs. Advised clients on community resources, made referrals.
Assimilated and reported on demographics regarding all programs pertaining to the services that were provided by my employer.
Facilitated community, "Grass Roots" meetings, in the entire "Inclusive" area in Mohave County, where all of the programs were serviced. Occasionally, acted as secretary and also recorded and dictated minutes for said meetings. Typed and mailed all agendas for meetings except for one board of members.
Bridged the gap between clientèle and the community by acting as a liaison as well as public speaking via radio and local newspapers, as needed.
I also supplied data to local charities, etcetera, in order to provide them with lists of individual families who would benefit from their service, primarily during the holidays.
