1998/Present Trauma Specialist, Educator and Chaplain
Private Traumatic Grief practice and Contract/Consultant Facilitator: Clients: Various
hospices and hospitals, Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists, and numerous
residential facilities. Crisis Response, Motivational Seminars, In-service training on Loss/grief,
trauma, diversity. Trauma care to Families and Staff in various settings with follow-up
Memorial Services and/or Bereavement Support, Weddings for those with no specific Faith
affiliation. Former Chaplain: Newtown PA Police, Fire and EMS (5yrs.).
1997-1998 Chaplain Resident, Clinical Pastoral Education, Thomas Jefferson University
Hospital, Phila. PA. Supervised emotional/spiritual support of patients, families, and staff in a
large, urban medical center. Served in Trauma, Emergency, Intensive Care Units, Psych,
regular floors, rounds, and JCAHO review.
1996 - 1997 Associate Chaplain, Manor Care & Arden Courts, Yardley, PA.
Geriatric/Alzheimers/Dementia residents: Pastoral visits, death and dying support, family and
staff bereavement issues in two separate facilities: daily and weekly services, Memorials,
funerals, assisting volunteer clergy and lay ministers.
1993 - 1995 Director: Volunteer Services and Interfaith Chaplaincy Program,
Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol, PA: 260 bed community hospital. Administration of Volunteer
and Chaplaincy programs: over 240 volunteers/160 clergy and lay chaplains: established
formal chaplaincy program, Community Memorial Service, and Chaplaincy Training Program.

Two 24 hr. facilities: Protective Services Shelter and JINS Shelter. Budget, public relations,

Was Adjunct Faculty: Seton Hall, Rutgers, and Penn State. Bucks County Community
