Looking affordable childcare? Call me! (Bourne, Ma)

Date: 2012-11-21, 1:29PM abprw8@r.postjobfree.com

Are you looking for childcare for your infant or toddler but are put off by high prices of day cares? You should be. Even "reasonably" priced day cares can cost well over $1,000 per month. The picture only gets worse when you think about how many days you miss from work when your child gets sick and isn't allowed to go to day care (which is the place where he/she got sick in the first place).

There is a reason why wealthy families hire expensive nannies to care for their children (costing upwards $20 an hour). The reason is because we nannies are better than your average day care facility. Nannies provide hands on, personal care in a calm, home-like environment. The only downside (besides the high price) of hiring a nanny is that there aren't any other children for your son or daughter to play with which can hamper their socialization skills.

That's where I come in. My name is Tricia and I am an experienced nanny with three school-aged children of my own. I have a three year old daughter who just started preschool, a five year old son in kindergarten, and a seven year old son who is in the second grade. I have several hours during the morning to in which to dedicate the essential one-on-one care that your child may be lacking in a crowded and chaotic day care atmosphere, while afternoons are filled with the joy and laughter that my children bring home from school with them. I would be delighted to welcome your child into my home which is well stocked with fun and education. But, perhaps most importantly, I am more affordable that you typical day care center.

Some fun facts about me: I started going to school for early childhood education right after high school but I put my plans aside when I got married and started my family. Recently, I decided to change my major to ASL (american sign language) and special needs education. I have a passion for teaching and once my children are old enough I plan to return to college to finish my degree and continue on for my Master's. I live in the nice, quiet town of Monument Beach and am willing to accomodate you by caring for your child in my home if that is something that interests you. My home is a few short miles from the Bourne Bridge, the town library and there are many beaches, parks and nature trails in the area as well.

You maybe be wondering why I am cheaper than a nanny you may find through an agency. Ironically, nanny agencies tend to slow things down while the interveiw process itself can sometimes drag on for months at a time. I am looking to get back into the work force as soon as possible and am willing to take a pay cut in order to do so.

The bottom line is this: if you are paying $800 a month or more in child card expenses I can save you money.

If all of this sounds appealing to you please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to meet with your and your child!
