for the WEB Development Department.

Project: Support for existing development and test Oracle databases, Support

Oracle Financials application, Support for Oracle Web Application server.

Responsibilities: Supported a development staff of 25 PL/SQL, Java, web

developers. Responsible for the development and the test environments (Oracle

RDBMS, Oracle Applications servers, and the Oracle financials) security, backup

plans, storage, software upgrades, and tuning. Supported Nextels change

management system and ensured change management policies were followed.

Responsible for looking over new changes and new applications, ensuring the

code is using Nextels standards of coding, then implementing them into the

test environment. Worked with developers to properly size the objects they

were creating to ensure a well tuned (storage wise) change and/or new

application. Responsible for backup strategy that included nightly logical

Project: Production support for existing production and development Oracle

databases, Support Oracle Financials application, Support for Oracle Web

HP/UX UNIX servers.

Responsibilities: Support and upgrades to Oracle version 734 and version 8I

databases, established backup and recovery schema for the Oracle databases.

Support and upgrades to the Oracle Financials application (v 10.7 nca) along

with establishing a security schema for both the Oracle financials application

and the Oracle Databases. Support and upgrades to the Oracle Web Application

server (v.3.0 and 4.0). All Oracle products were in both a production and an

development environments. Developed UNIX shell and PL/SQL scripts along with

SQL Loader control files for data loads from a proprietary database into the

developing backup and recovery and developing a security plan, created data
