EMPLOYMENT
Oct 2003- present International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 128 Ontario
During this period` I have worked as a General foreman, Foreman, job planner,
expeditor, research and development of welding procedure and
technique, pressure welder and boilermaker mechanic. I have
worked in many different industries from nuclear energy
production, conventional energy production, oil and gas refineries,
steel mills, pulp mills and construction/repair`of.industrial storage tanks
Duties for which I was responsible during this time:General foreman /Foreman; time sheets, reports on progress, reports on job requirements, OH&S planning and implementation, tool box talks, employee compliance with all company rules, regulations and procedures, man power distribution, work direction, worker supervision, interpreting blue prints, implementation of welding procedures to the required code and standard,Research and development; in this position I was required to work with engineers to develop a fitting and welding procedure for the installation of nozzles into a nuclear steam generator. The procedure had to be in compliance with all codes and regulations. The procedure also needed to be easily taught to people who have never performed the task at hand. The procedure needed to be proven in a shop several times and was also held to the highest standard by way of NDT. There was a PT and MT of the root pass then a UT and RT when the weld was complete. The nozzle also had to be within 1/16 of true when the welding was complete. No small feat considering the nozzle was a 4" XX strong and only 17" long.Boilermaker mechanic/ Pressure welder; blue print reading, layout, installation of replacement parts, construction and installation of new material, hoisting and rigging, fitting and welding of a range of steels and alloys. High pressure tube and pipe welding . Flame cutting, plasma cutting, operation of air driven milling machines, many different welding processes and procedures, nuclear pressure boundary welding and various other mechanical maintenance requirements of the different industries.
April 1998- Oct 2003: International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 146 Alberta
During this time I served an apprenticeship in the welding trade,
I learned the boilermaker trade through on the job mentoring and
I also worked as a foreman. I worked in many different industries
from conventional energy production, oil and gas refineries and
pulp mills.
My duties during this time overlap with the information above.

I would also like to express to you, that during those years I have gained valuable experiences. I have had the privilege of working with a vast array of different people ranging from owner/ clients to front line workers and everybody in between. Each person with whom I have dealt, I have had a differing interpersonal relationship with. I have in my short time learned to adapt to each situation. Whether it involves the, articulate, delicate elegance of managing an interpersonal relationship with the owner/ client or the tough hand needed to deal with a troublesome employee. I am quite able to present the different image required to cope with the situation. I have worked in a myriad of industrial fields and environments. Each one of these fields has presented their own challenge. Fields including but not completely limited to nuclear power production (CANDU nuclear reactors), Oil and Gas production (Shell, Imperial oil, Petro Canada, Oil sands production), Conventional energy production (Coal and natural gas fired boilers), Steel mills (Dofasco and US Steel) and pulp mills. I was employed at each place as an independent contractor through a third party. The exposure to these varying environments has given me the ability to examine and solve problems with various ideas and not one simple mind set. I would appreciate the opportunity to grow and help your company grow while maintaining your customer base. I am a team player and I do realize that every task that I accomplish has my professional name upon it. In closing I would like to state that I have no problem with a performance based contract, I am quite willing and able to prove myself and my worth to your company. I strongly believe that through hard work and determination that I can produce profit for your company and intern myself. Thank-you for your time, I hope to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Chad Kibermanis
