Client : CIBC, Toronto.

Role : QA Analyst/Business Analyst

Description:

The mobile payment feature will allow the client to make tap and go purchases using their mobile phone at both Domestic and International mobile POS devices.

Responsibilities:

The project Treasury & Security Services (T&SS) is one of the largest cash management providers globally. The project involves the services like payments, receivables, collections, trade finance, investments & information services to help treasures manage working capital and liquidity. T & SS involves various applications like Global Funds Processing, Global Funds Clearing and Customer Information Facility where the clearing & settlement of the funds processed. We have various test environments for each of these applications where the QA/UAT performs their Testing for various Releases.

Responsibilities:

Involved in analyzing the requirements and Business requirements to prepare test cases. Participated as review coordinator for test cases and the Test script.Involved in reviewing the test cases with the Application Development (AD) team and validate the test cases.Defect Tracking (Tracking and reporting open defects to closure).Submit periodic status reports to the PM and the Customer.Worked closely with the Development Team, to understand the system functionality, and problems solving.Run Jobs with the co-ordination of CM groups.Performing System Testing, Functionality Testing and co-ordinate with Regression Testing teams for the new features with CIF, GFP Applications.Involved in creating test data to meet requirements and test cases.Involved in build management activities for installing the new builds and setting the system ready to test.Performed manual testing to validate the content of the screen flow.Prepare Test status reports, Defect status reports on daily basis.Attended weekly QA meeting and project meetings as needed for status and follow-ups.
