Operate press for the fabrication of the local newspaper. Duties included aligning plates up on the paper for better picture quality adjusting ink setters to the template ad that was done by the advertisement department. During the production of the paper we would look at the pages for quality and correct any faults that might have occurred while operation. This was a loud and physically demanding job that required 6 to 8 hrs on your feet. with little down time.
