* Provided leadership to a major investigation - the first of its kind conducted by the New Jersey State Police - dubbed "Operation Big Apple" because of its New York origins. Subject of investigation was an international ring of heroin smugglers of Albanian descent operating in New Jersey from a base in Yugoslavia. Complex, prolonged investigation encompassed elements including securing Court authorization for electronic surveillance, cultivating and managing informants, orchestrating undercover narcotics purchases, and securing translations for the five different languages spoken within criminal network. Investigation concluded successfully after more than a year with the arrest and conviction of 54, including the network's leaders.

* Established a consistent record of superior performance and achievement throughout twenty-six year career with the New Jersey State Police. Beginning in patrol, advanced into investigations as a Detective. Achieved promotions in rank to Detective Sergeant, Detective Sergeant First Class, and ultimately Lieutenant. Assignments spanned experience in units and functions including Narcotics and Organized Crime, Cargo Theft and Robbery, Asset Forfeiture, Criminal Investigations, Missing Persons, Auto Theft, and Solid/Hazardous Waste - culminating in Assistant Bureau Chief accountability within the Intelligence Management Bureau.

* Built complete security team from inception for an exclusive golf and country club within the Trump Organization. Recruited and trained staff and managed ongoing operations. Developed the Club's Health and Safety Program including all formal policies and procedures and training for staff personnel.

* Conducted an investigation of trademark counterfeiting of a leading urban fashion line of clothing and accessories. Working from information collected by investigation of a website selling counterfeited products, identified source of supply and seized an entire warehouse in New Jersey containing tens of thousands of counterfeit articles replicating products of the manufacturer in question as well as other high-end producers of clothing and accessories. Actions ultimately resulted in the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator of these frauds.

* Recognized - individually and as member of a team - for successes including the following:

implementation of the Amber Alert Program and recovery of a child;

arrest of murder suspects;

28 arrests, 87 charges, and recovery of $1.2 million in stolen property and vehicles during first quarter of a year during tenure in Cargo Theft and Robbery Unit;

completion of the prestigious Northwestern University Traffic Institute School of Police Staff and Command encompassing accumulation of 18 credits in Financial and Operating Budgets, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Planning and Management, Resource Allocation and Staff Planning, Human Resource Administration, Transportation Problems, and Psychology of Personnel Methods;

currency seizures of $96,251.00, $830,753.00, $57,800.00, and $837,019.00; and

achievement of the highest grade, 97.4, in a two-week course in Police Supervision.
