Job SummaryReport directly to the Executive Vice President of Marine Operations, responsible for oversight, coordination and preparation of funding documents, establish budgets, monitor expenses and perform other fiscal matters and related administrative duties for the Groups in Marine Operations. Prepare or assist in proposal preparation, budgets, quotes, charges, invoices and other documents relating to Marine Operations Group activities. Provide monthly allocations for ships, technicians, submersibles, and pressure testing for the Managers and supervisors in Marine Operations. Interact with the Controllers office on overseeing accuracy of allocations. Interact with personnel from government agencies and other funding sources to facilitate information and timely funding document flow. Provide a point-of-contact for marine insurance underwriters, provide timely information on ship usage and other information as required. Assist with questions involving marine insurance by science users and Institution staff Serve as a point-of-contact and facilitator for Marine Operations Groups and the Controller's Office, Grant and Contract Services, auditors and other Institution departments.
