Sox compliance program for major non-profit Houston Hospital system, with emphasis in Treasury and Supply Chain, concurrent with PeopleSoft implementation. Completed project ahead of schedule and under budget.
13 month engagement as contract CFO. Joined with new country President to relocate operations to Houston. Terminated former Controller and staff in New Jersey, hired local staff, and transferred corporate functions down to Houston. Finished implementation of SAP (migrated from IES) and home-grown freight management system, developed internal reporting system to support novice Presidents management of the company, implemented cash management protocols, cut typical billing times from 30 days to 3 days, reduced 60-day past-due receivables by 60%, and successfully completed year-one financial audit with no changes.
