Client: @tlas e-Solutions, Inc

. Position: eBusiness Systems Architect

Contact: Peter Yorke, CFO Terms: Corp-to-Corp (Digital Frameworks)

Phone: 415-***-**** Duration: April 2000

to February 2001

Designed and documented the system architecture of the @tlas Universal Translator, an open source B2B eBusiness server based on XML, Zope and python technologies. Design emphasized security (SOAP 1.1), W3C standards (XPath, XSL, XML-Schemas), open scripting, and scaleability. Developed XML-to-object serialization of BizTalk XML-DR schemas to python code utilizing XSLT (4XSLT). Influenced marketing with product positioning advice such as remaining 100% Microsoft BizTalk compliant on the wire. Evaluated competing architectures and offering such as Microsoft BizTalk/DNA, BEA WebMethods, Vitria, IBM WebSphere, Lutris Enhydra, HP eSpeak, jBoss, and other J2EE compliant platforms.

Contract terminated after five(5) Work Orders due to lack of VC funding sought by principals for 10 months. This was just bad timing for @tlas, with the whole MS vs. DOJ stock crash, and the dot-com demises.
