Operating the Crane (Zenar) requires one to calculate effectively, when to call for the molten iron to be brought to your end of the line, while adding chemicals/ lighter metals to the recipe before pouring into over-head furnaces. The job requires someone capable of operating the over-head crane while listening to the radio, observing your surroundings, placing trust in fellow employees to give hand-signals providing accurate and timely information that I can not see.
