Syntese Rendering is Ian Blue.

He is an Architectural Designer, with a strong Graphics Arts background, and avid road cyclist. He's been in the visual field for the last 15 years (5 in architecture, 10 in graphics).

He has worked in all phases of building design and has seen many designs to substantial completion as a project representative. He has worked for big firms, small firms, and independently, designed K-12 schools, multi-family housing, and health care projects, built physical and digital 3d models, designed graphic presentations for clients, drawn construction details and produced working drawings in deadline-driven environments, coordinated with engineers and contractors, dealt with all of the nuances of construction administration.

Listening carefully to clients, helping them to evolve their ideas in digital form, is what gets him out of bed each morning.

Consultant Project list to date:

Adventure Suites, North Conway, NH 2011 - Developed multi-level renovation designs for 2 existing suites in theme-based hotel. Used 3-D modeling and visualization to illustrate vast potential of experiential effects based on optimal room layout and prop placement. Construction scheduled for August of 2011.

Patton/Grenzeback Residence, Kreger Design-Build, Santa Fe, NM 2010 - Assisted architect of record with 3-D digital analysis of site, solar orientation, and relationship between interior and exterior spaces of 2,400 sf private residence.

Southwestern College Campus, AM+A Design, Santa Fe, NM 2010 - Collaborated with registered architect in masterplan design proposal for existing 2 acre art therapy college campus. Created parking, pedestrian, and construction phasing strategies based on specific conditions, such as lot size, traffic patterns, parking/operational requirements, yearly school schedules, and art therapy-based teaching methodologies.

Buck/Saffer Residence, Brownfield, ME 2010 - Used 3D modeling to develop daylighting and shading strategies for south-facing 2400sf private residence.

Siney Residence, Kreger Design-Build, Santa Fe, 2010 - Created 3d massing models and fly-through animations of 2600 sf private residence/site for architect's presentation to their client.
