Perform all maintenance on my own aircraft a 66 Alon A2 Aircoupe

Performed structural sheet metal repairs on aircraft

Extensive knowledge and experience working with composites

Serviced all equipment in my own company

Auto body repair and painting

Welding/ soldering

Design and fabricate backing structures for composite tools using metal and composites

Shape and modify master moulds for lay-up

Rapid prototyping and modification of existing parts

Build high temp tools with wet lay-up and pre-preg carbon /kevlar

I am an aviation enthusiast who takes satisfaction working with my hands and people. My experience in the high end remodel business has taught me the importance of quality craftsmanship. I was a shop lead in the tooling department at Adam Aircraft Industries and it was truly my happy place until the companys untimely demise. I missed the aerospace environment with all its challenges and constantly evolving technology. With my families support I went back to school and successfully obtained an Airframe and Power plant certificate. My wife and I are the proud owners of an Alon Aircoupe aircraft. My last annual inspection turned into restoration project that utilized just about everything that I learned in my AP training. I continue to research new methods and materials on a regular basis.
