Professional Experience:Assistant Superintendent, Barnstable Public Schools (July 1, 2005-August 29, 2008 Retired) Position includes all responsibilities normally within an Assistant Superintendent s job description Budgeting, Curriculum, New Teacher Induction, Negotiations, Title-I Director, Evaluations, Communication and Professional Development.Interim Assistant Superintendent, Barnstable Public Schools (July 1, 2004-June 30, 2005) Responsibilities as outlined above and assistance with consolidation of the Municipal and School Finance and Human Resource Departments.Principal, Hyannis East Elementary School (July 1, 1988-June 30, 2004) Position included all the responsibilities and duties of a building principal Budgeting, Scheduling, Evaluations, Supervision, Instructional Leader, Discipline, Planning, Recordkeeping, Communications, Organizing and Site Professional Development.Teacher, Osterville Bay Elementary School (1985-1988) Served as a grade-5 teacher and Head Teacher for three (3) years.
